A selection of choral music for Holy Week featuring Allegri’s famous Miserere together with a number of setting of Crucifixus, from Lotti’s familiar 8-part motet to a 16-part setting by Caldara, a mini-cantata by Kenneth Leighton, and the London premiere of Crucifixus for double choir and ‘cello by Geoffrey Gordon. The Choir of Royal Holloway (dir. Rupert Gough) are joined by ‘cellist Carwyn Jones.
