Soloist Irina-Kalina Goudeva performs Geoffrey Gordon's Needles in My Flesh, a setting of five texts by poet Pia Tafdrup, for alto voice and double bass, commissioned by the Danish Arts Council, as part of the 2012 EU Double Bass convention, at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen.
